43°N 114°W started with a team of dynamic women athletes wanting to inspire each other and build a multigenerational mentorship and empowerment program. Under their guidance, 43°N 114°W has also grown to represent our diverse community overall and to celebrate its unity and potential. Derived from the shared longitude and latitude coordinates of our valley, 43°N 114°W celebrates our unique community and all of those who have come to call it home. Each municipality has its individual personality, but all four share a sameness, a love of the outdoors, the mountains and all our spectacular location offers. As this valley continues to evolve and grow, 43°N 114°W is about preserving the heart that has defined the Wood River Valley for nearly a century, about bringing the ever-diversifying population together in a common bond.
